Ashley supports universal healthcare coverage, untethering benefits from employment, and putting medical decisions back in the hands of patients and the clinicians who actually treat them. No one should go broke getting healthy.

Groceries, rent, prescriptions, childcare — everything costs more, and wages haven’t kept up. Ashley sees this in her patients every day. She supports a national minimum wage, targeted relief for unavoidable costs, and ending the tariff whiplash that has made financial planning impossible for NC-10 families and small businesses.

Economic security isn’t a partisan issue. It’s what every family in this district is trying to hold onto.

Ashley has spent years fighting insurance denials on behalf of her patients. She’s watched prior authorization delays cost people their health — and sometimes their lives. Insurance companies should never have more authority over a patient’s care than the clinician sitting in the room with them.

Ashley will legislate to end prior authorization abuse, ban coverage denials for medically necessary care, and hold insurance companies accountable to the patients they’re supposed to serve.

Running for office should be accessible to every American. Right now, it’s not — only the wealthy can afford to run a competitive campaign, and that shapes who Congress listens to. Ashley supports banning Congressional stock trading, limiting dark money, and making campaigns accessible to working people.

A Congress that represents everyone starts with a system that lets everyone run.

Every American deserves a path forward — whether that’s a four-year degree, a trade certification, or professional training. Ashley believes in fully funding public schools, paying teachers what they’re worth, and making sure tax dollars go to accountable institutions that serve all students.

Opportunity shouldn’t be determined by your zip code or your family’s income.

Every woman deserves control over her own healthcare decisions, her own body, and her own future. Ashley will fight to protect reproductive rights, expand access to contraception, and defend women’s voting rights.

These aren’t partisan issues. They’re human rights.

Ashley believes honoring veterans starts with keeping the promises we made to them. She supports expanding existing benefits, adding loan forgiveness, strengthening access to mental health care, and providing living stipends and childcare assistance for veterans and their families.

Service to this country should never be repaid with bureaucratic neglect.

As a PA, Ashley has worked directly with patients navigating a system that too often treats disability as an afterthought. She supports full ADA enforcement, expanded Medicaid access, and employment protections that allow every American to contribute on their own terms.

Disability is not a limitation on what someone can give to this country. Our policies should reflect that.

Ashley has treated LGBTQ+ patients who have faced discrimination in the very healthcare system meant to protect them. She knows these aren’t abstract policy debates — they are people’s lives, health, and dignity.

Ashley will oppose any legislation that treats LGBTQ+ Americans as second-class citizens and support full legal equality under the law.

The current immigration enforcement system has failed — separating families, detaining US citizens, and operating without adequate oversight. That is not security. That is dysfunction.

Ashley supports replacing ICE with a professional, accountable agency focused on genuine public safety threats, with full due process protections for everyone. Humane enforcement and secure borders are not mutually exclusive.

Everyone deserves a voice and for their vote to count regardless of whether they live. It's time to stop the games with gerrymandering.
